QUIRK....QUIRK....QUIRK!!

my Mom tagged me for a game where i list six quirky things about myself.

1. i want ice cream even when i'm sick or it's cold out.

2. i like to wear socks with my sandals.

3. i like to sing in an opera voice.

4. i like a meal the first few times i have it but after a few more of that meal i realize i don't like it.

5. even though i'm fine with hikes and showers i gripe a lot when i'm told it's time for one

6. at night i'm afraid to walk past my Dad's workroom when the light is off

Ok, this is a movie I made in our vacation flat in Larnaca, Cyprus.

I thought it was funny that in the song coming out of my Mom's computer, just after Devendra Banhart (one of my Mom's favorites) said, "one thousand mending moans," Yiayia did a very funny, pronounced, yawn!

A Brief Explanation of Cyprus

We are now in Cyprus. We are in Nicosia, although we spent a week in the Larnaca area. We visited the Turkish side a few times. And then we came here to Nicosia, where we are mostly visiting family. Some of my favorite things about this trip are: Cats (lots and lots of them), beaches, collecting shells, kleftiko, grilled octopus, fresh calamari and the high, windy Kantara Castle, pictured below.



Tomorrow is our last day here. We leave early Thursday morning and spend one night in Amersterdam! And then on Friday I see my Dad and my cats, Luna and Loki! I've missed them all a lot.

Leaving the Fort for Cyprus!

I built this fort with my friends Jesse and Ibante. Now it is winter break, and I'm leaving for Cyprus on the 20th!!!!

Christmas, Birthday, Birthday Party!

Ok, big catch up, I had a great Christmas! I hope you did to! These are some pictures of some of my favorite things that I got.

The first is a cute (I mean REALLY), baby doll that I wanted, I named him Leo.



The 2nd is a sewing box (my very talented Mom made the lid for it).



3rd is the stuffed penguin that Leo is holding.



Jan 2nd was my 10th birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we went snow tubing, it was so much fun!!!!

After tubing I got my ears pierced. My mom had been promising me that I can get my ears pierced once I turn 10!!!

I am so so exited! Tonight my Dad and i are going to Wisconsin, we are going to drive to Huntington west Virginia and spend the night.We will wake up early the next day and drive to Wisconsin for the rest of the day.My Dad says we will probably get there by dinner time,he also says that it will probably take fifteen hours to get there.

Busy Week

On Saturday this week we have the Christmas Bazaar at my school. Nia and I are going to play Good King Wenceslas. I am very excited about it. Nia plays cello and I play violin. That is us practicing in the picture above. I decided to put the picture below up because my cat Luna is in the background with glowing eyes.
